Red face Targus Stowaway & Visor Platinum

Hi all,

I just purchased and installed the keyboard.prc, set the Cmd Keys and enable the keyboard.

I am using WordSmith (v2.01a) for writing document. I create a new document, I start typing on the keyboard and nothing happens! If I
type Shift-T (for a "T"), the Visor shows a search command ("\...").
What is going on?

I have the following softwares on my Platinum:

SilkyBoard v2.2 (the application was disable)
SilverScreen v2.2
AddressPro (www.zingware.com)
TodoPlus (www.handhigh.com)
InnoPocket FlashPlus VFSHelper v2.0 (www.kopsisengineering.com)
PDADefense v2.01 (www.pdadefense.com)

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Did you turn the Plat on after you hooked it up to the keyboard? When I first got my StowAway, I played with it and it worked great. Then later I went to show it to a co-worker and it would not work no matter what I did. I was certain that I had broken it somehow. Then I figured out you have to plug it into the keyboard and then turn the PDA on.

or you can go into the keyboard app icon on the launcher screen and uncheck then recheck the box that says "enable keyboard" or something to that effect...
