I have the 8MB module, which I want to use for backing up files as well as for extra memory.

While almost all applications can be run from the 8MB module, data files for some programs can not be accessed from flash. One solution is to put the app on the module and the data in the RAM. The data files can also be copied to the module so they're backed up.

This appears to work fine for most apps (Avantgo, Datebook, Memo, Todo, Address, Hi-Note, etc...). However, Quicksheet crashes if the data files exist on the flashcard.

I figured out a workaround:

1. Use ZCatalog to change the entry in the "Creat" field from "Sprd" to something else. This disassociates the file from Quicksheet.

2. Copy the file to the module.

3. Use ZCatalog to change "Creat" back to "Sprd" for the version in RAM.

The RAM copies are accessed and modified without any problems. If I make changes to a spreadsheet on the road, I can do the above steps to backup the modified version.

However, doing this for a lot of Quicksheet files is tedious... is there a way to create some sort of script (that runs on the Visor) for doing steps 2 and 3?

- Thanks!
