I purchased a standard Visor in October, received it in Nov, and have loved it. My only mistake was getting the standard instead of the deluxe -- I "need" more memory!

I could get the 8M springboard, but I want to keep my sb slot open for a voice recorder and a wireless module.

Tim Charron has a web site that outlines how to open a Palm and upgrade the memory chip, and also has info on doing the same thing with a Visor, but I haven't had any luck finding the parts he lists.

I would like to perform this upgrade, but am having a hard time finding an appropriate 8M DRAM chip for this. If you've performed this upgrade on your Visor, could you please let me know where you purchased your chip, and what the exact part number is?
