Wink

I ran across this on the pilot webring.
Thought it was cute.. esp. since I once made a potato powered clock for the science fair!

If it has already made the rounds, sorry!

Thumbs up

LOL...
And where is the Grafitti shortcut to change the battery setting of my Visor accordingly, to "lemons" etc.???
Maybe I should try <shortcut> + <.> + <l.e.m.o.n.>???

P.S. How long do your lemons last???

Question

... but seriously folks...

why is it that none of the pda manufacturers are using solar polar to drive these things? i recall using a calculator in the late 70s that used solar power. you would think that 25 years down the line we would be able to run our pda's with this technology...

any thoughts?

Cool

I talked to the developer and he told me that for the new colored PDA's he is comming out with a higher powered grapefruitpack. He tells me it is more like a backpack...

Cool

Hi All,
I wonder how the Energizer e2 Titanium Batteries will hold out on these new color PDA's?
I got a set in my Visor right now for a week now (so far my battery meter is still full).
I guess I'm not a heavy eBook reader :-(.
The below is Energizer Web Site:

I have had a new set of Titaniums exactly 1 week today. Have about 1/4 left on the battery icon. HotSync w/ AvantGo usually 2x day for 5 news accounts that have 335 records & 772K. Have used Thincom modem maybe total of 10 minutes on this set of batteries.

Is that heavy use?

So what's the advantage to e2 batteries? Their website was full of pointless gobbldegook and advertising fluff.

I guess that's to be expected.

Trying to find out what's really going on with stuff like this is tough. There should be a technical paper on these things... you know, batery manufacturers have technical conferences and journals and the like, so where can you find them?
