If you only have a USB cradle, the ROMTransfer utility will not work as it only supports Serial at this time. All is not lost, however. If you're brave, you can follow these directions and use the Palm Debugger to obtain the Visor ROM over USB.

Recent change ... One can now sign a NDA and get access to the Visor ROM Images, English, German, and Japanese. Debugging version are not yet available. See Handspring: Developers: Technical Information: Visor and POSE.
