Visor siting on TV

Last night on CNN was a commercial for CDW that showed a person using a Visor handheld (I think it was a Prism). I caught the end of the clip and noticed those ridges alongside the screen. Hopefully, it will air again so I can pay closer attention.

When I read the subject of this thread, I wasn't sure if you meant "visor sighting on TV" or "visor sitting on TV"!

If you look at the video for 3 Door Down "Be Like That" (AP Mix) you will see a bunch of handhelds. Visors with Fliplids are in there along with a pocketpc.

Sunday (9/23) I saw a Prism on Trading Spaces. The color of the case and the ridges gave it away.

You bet they used Visors. They even had Handspring Sports cases and eyemodule2s.

No self respecting detective would be without a cool looking gadget to investigate their crimes.

What's sad though is I heard a strongly supported rumer, that the firefighter that won mystery in small town x, died in the WTC, as he rushed in to save people....

Lightbulb apple advert

I saw an advert at the cinema the other night for some new Apple laptop. The guy sat down on an plane in between 2 people with his laptop and loads of 'cool gadgets' and proceeded to set them all up, sort of showing off to everybody. Anyway, among these gadgets was a visor (maybe a deluxe, it was dark anyway so could still have been a prism) I guess the handspring was the natural choice since its usb and mac friendly out of the box!

The advert is about the Apple new iBook
It looks virtually similar to Apple's Titanium PowerBook.

The advert was out pretty long ago... And it's downloadable from www.apple.com

Oh ya, it's a Visor Deluxe

On the "ER" season premiere last night, Dr. Robert "Rocket" Romano had a PDA. It was an iPaq, but he is also the character that most people (on the show and viewers) love to hate, so I guess that's OK.

Cool Dr. Robert "Rocket" Romano

I hate Dr. Robert "Rocket" Romano because he was one of the bad guys who shot RoboCop, when he was just a human anyway. But RoboCop got back at him, in that big fight at the gas station.

I was watching FOX when the anchor people(I think the FOX and Friends crew) stated that as fact. That he was one of the first on the scene. Haven't heard any more about it recently but there's so many stories......

On the 10/19/01 episode of "That's Life" (Fridays-9:00 PM - CBS), one of the characters in the episode (a dancer with a severe heart condition) was waving an orange VDx around in one scene.

One of the COOLEST movies "Charles Angle's" has them using two pda's, but were sopposed to be one. when they go to their locker, they take out a ppc i think, then when there in the drive through, their using a handspring.
Of course its been a while since i saw that movie so i may not be exactly correct on the places they showed them.

robert sibell:

Actually in Charlie's Angels, the "bad" guy (name slips my mind) uses a Pocket PC for his appointments, which the Angels sync up with their Visor.
