Post Visor Keybd Canned In Favour Of Ipaq

This is the kind of thing that worries me as a HS customer. Saw it at PDABuzz.

*shrug* Interests change. I'm sure if Handspring came out with a killer product that everyone was buying that needed such a keyboard, they'd have a model in short order.

There's no business sense to releasing yet another thumb typing keyboard for the Visor, especially one that competes against much larger companies like Seiko and Belkin. A thumb typing keyboard for the iPaq, on the other hand, guarantees exclusive market share from the starting gun.

EtherAge is shrewdly avoiding commerical suicide and framing it (with the help of PPCBuzz) as a sign of a shift in the marketplace.
