Most web sites have a way to get back the their main page (home).

Once I am in the discussion area, there is not way to get back to your home page. I think that clicking on the Visorcentral logo used to get me there, but I could be wrong...

Is this by design?

There a link at the bottom of the page (the worst place to have it, granted).

Actually, it would be nice if they took the interface from the rest of the site and incorporated it into the forums...once you get into the forums you kind of feel stuck there.

I don't think they have much of a choice. since Ultimate bulletin board is their provider. If you go to their site, you basically just fill in the blanks.

I always get frustrated with the home thing. The barely noticeable link at the bottom is just not enough. We need better navigation.

Question

We've talked about this before, but our options with UBB are pretty limited. Would a Split frame be ok for you? We could have a frame on the right that had recent updates and its logo would take you back to the home page.

Take a look at pdabuzz.com. They're a UBB site and they have a consistant navigation menu at the top and bottom of their page.

Things are okay the way they are with that one exception (the "home" issue). It seems like it used to work!

The only other thing I'd like is a "mark all as read" option, so when I come back I only see the topics that have had some activity since I last "marked all as read."

Should be a little easier to navigate around now.
