I know the screen scratch topic has been done to death, but...

I have just purchased the Visor stylus from PDA Panache - much better feel and weight and the tip is far superior to the standard plastic wonder Handspring has blessed us with. Does anyone know if the PDA Panache stylus scratches the screen? So far my results have been good, but I am wondering if I sould explore some of the screen protection options in addition. Thanks!

Ted

I have been using my PDA Panache for only about 1 week now. I agree, it is by far a better stylus than the stock Handspring. I do not use a screen protector, and have had no scratches so far. I think the key is to keep your screen as free from dust as possible. It only takes a couple of particles to "catch" under the point and wreak havoc.

I've been using the PDA Panache stylus since christmas (it was a present) and using it without my writerights since the beginning of January. I am just now noticing one or two small scratches on the screen and a barely noticible circle of scratches on the grafiti area. I think my writerights are going back on. The stylus is better, but i think the real problem is the screen itself...too soft for a touch screen device.
