IRLink(nokia 8290) + targus stowaway = not working..

Ive found that when I have my visor plugged in the targus stowaway keyboard and when I try to connect to the net on my cell phone through infared, the cell phone either wont connect fully or if it does connect, the keyboard dies. Im using IRLink to use my cell phone..


any ideas?

Unfortunately, the serial port and IR port share the same IRQ and thus can't be used at the same time.

So im basically SOL? theres nothing i can do with my current setup to make it work?

You could try to connect to your cellphone via the Springboard slot. The Efig serial port module or Xircom module are possibilities. Otherwise, you are SOL.
