Looking for good deals on a Prism

OK, so I've decided on the Prism (as opposed to the Treo 90)...the best price I've seen so far is $229 at BuyDig (found through MySimon).

I tried the OfficeMax link, but the promotion ended 6/28.

Has anyone seen a better price?

TIA

Haven't seem a better price lately, but another place you may want to keep you eye on is CompUSA. I got my Prism for $169 a few weeks ago. They may try to burn through the rest of their inventory. Consumerdepot.com has refurbished Prism's for $199. I'll keep you posted if I find out anything.

FS: Prism and stuff

Hmmm...

Thinking of changing systems.

Would you like to buy my new Prism (replacement), Stowaway Keyboard (never used), SnapNType (never used), Digital Recorder (never used), Eyemodule 2 (never used), Travel Charger, USB Cradle, Leather case, Neoprene case, Visor Phone (never used), Hagiwara 16 MB Module, and Memplug with 128 MB CF as one package?

Make me an offer.

Bruce, The PDA PA

Appreciate the offer, but all I'm looking for is the Prism...already have a Stowaway, and various cases.

Unfortunately, no CostCo's around here....(upstate NY).

Anyone have any problems with the refurbished models?

They're going for about $160 on E-bay

Lightbulb Try your local Costco

I posted on another thread about this. I just picked a new Prism up at my local Costco (Schaumburg, IL) on 7/15/02 for just $99 when it was previously $199 the week before.

If you have a Costco by you - get over there and check it out. They will go fast at that price.

Woo-hoo! Thanks for the tip. My co-worker is in great need of a good Palm pda. I just picked up the last Prism (new, in box) at my local Costco for $99. He really likes my Prism and is stoked his new one is only costing him $99.

One question, though. I got my Prism back in Oct of 2000, and it came with a clip-on face cover like my old VDX did. This new one didn't come with one. It came with a little shield that's obviously used only for protection while shipping in the box. Were the clip-on facelates only available on the early Prisms?
