Disk Full?! Help! Can't access my info
Hello world,
A call for help going out from Copenhagen, Denmark.
I have my good old original Visor using Palm OS v. 3.1H2
I usually input new data onto my new Mac iBook and then hotsynch every couple of weeks, using the handheld mostly as a backup. But just now, when I tried tpolog onto my (2002) Palm Desktop software on my Mac, I get a Palm error message that simple says, "Disk is full."
How this could be is beyond me, since I have 70 Gigs of free memory on my Mac, and the Visor itself is not even 10% full.
So, any advice? I really need access to the info I put into the calendar, memo, to-do's etc. during the last three weeks.
How can I get the Palm software on my Mac to respond?
Have any of you ever seen this error message before?
Where are the Palm files stored on the Mac? if I could access them simply as text files that would be enough.
What is the latest Palm software that is compatible with my Visor (I purchased the Visor in 1999).
Last question - do you experienced users sometimes pull all of the data off of your Palm files and store it in Word or other formats, for safety?
With many thanks!
- Daniel
