Question

I'd like to save MS Word files to Palm format to put on my visor. I found some Word macros to do this, but they were for Word 6, and we're running Word 97 or whatever it is called now. I think it's version 7. Is there anything available for that? I don't quite understand what the macros are doing, but I suppose I could try to hack them into the new VBA macro language if nobody has done this yet.

Look for "Palm Docs" which contain macros that convert MS Word .DOCs to .PDB files. Pretty neat, works with my Office 2000. Good luck.

PalmDocs can be found at http://www.thinkchile.com/alorca/PalmDocs/

Can't try it out myself, as I don't have my Visor yet (and the page states you need the Palm Desktop software before it can be installed).

Thumbs down

I tried PalmDocs. I didn't seem to work. Any known conflicts with Handspring's Palm Desktop? How about win98?
