Targus keyboard adapter

I have a Targus keyboard that I was using with my Visor Neo. I now own a Visor Edge, however, the Edge will not work with the keyboard. Does anyone out there know about an adapter I can use on the keyboard to get my Edge to work with it?

Thanks

If you call up Targus customer service, they will sell you an adapter for $15.

I have it and it works.

What phone number did you call? What part number did you give them? I saw a part number and phone number (tech support maybe) elsewhere. When I called, they were acquainted with the part number but could not process credit cards. They told me to call sales. Sales could not find that part number. Called the first number back. They looked up the part number again (still there) and said they'd forward it to sales and that someone would call me back 'shortly' to take my CC#. That was two weeks ago. *sigh* Gotta love that Edge support (to think it's not even out of warranty yet).

I'm afraid I don't remember the telephone and part number (I do remember I spoke to Customer Service, not Tech Support and they processed my cc) but if you search the forums here, you'll find it, because that's where I got the info from in the first place.

I thought the adaptor was only available from ThinkOutside, not Targus.

Ironically, that's where I got my info from as well. Somebody pasted a phone number and part number they found on Visor Village.

edit:This was the thread.

It was me...

I was the one who originally posted the comment in the other thread, and I am just re-posting it here so you don't have to search for it

I originally found out about this from a Visor Village Discussion:

http://www.visorvillage.com/boards/...ssages/729.html

Apparantly, it is made by Targus and the Part # is PA86UX ($14.99) and is only available by calling tech support at 888-970-7678, and the Adapter will convert the 12-Pin Edge connector to an 8-Pin Visor connector, but will only work correctly with the stowaway.

I personally don't know anything about this, so don't blame me for misinformation or anything...I'm going off what I am reading.

I guess you didn't check the link in my 'edit'. I already had.

Actually...

Actually, I did check the link, and that's how I copied it. It was near the bottom of the thread, which was pretty long, so I thought I would repost it.
