Ok, that makes sense. And a custom screen would hike the price too much, since LCD screens are such a high-demand item.
I did wonder for a moment how the Palm IIIc, though, can use the same screen (the same physical screen--the difference in number of colors is in the OS, just in case anyone hadn't read yet that somewhere else, like James's review) and still have its power button on the left. Obviously, though, since the IIIc is longer than the typical Palm OS handheld--i.e. the Prism--it doesn't
