Thumbs up

My edge arrived today! yay!
Some quick thoughts.
Bit buggy at first, made me miss the reset part of my visor stylus.
Overall very impressed, how come nobody mentioned the little pop up that happens when you
do the command thing.
eg command c to copy and this bar popped up at the bottom with cut, paste etc; nice touch.
Did the "Sitting with it in back pocket" test like someone here said, seems ok.
Does not feel flimsy, could knock someone out with this! Suffice to say I did not do that test.
I have no stylus rattle problem and that damn cover could have been designed better.
Big clock can now wake me up with the new speaker!
Its is bigger than the deluxe with the sled springboard on. weird.
Lol keep pressing the left corner to switch off.
And now its harder to slide the stylus in in the dark, (lay in bed reading Avantgo)
screen is better, less eye strain.
And isn't it time to ditch Graffiti as standard in favour of Simpliwrite or Jot?

Anyone know where I can get the soundsgood mp3 player at its new price?

no one mentioned the popup bar thingy cause it's not new to the visor. it's on the platinum and prism as well (part of 3.5).

as for the soundsgood at new price, just go to good.com and follow their link to palmgear.

Wink

The popup is part of the worthless Palm OS 3.5 feature set that nobody needs

ahh I see, damn I have to keep up with you people!
I think its quite a nice feature!

Oh me and palmgear do not go together.
I still have not received my money back after ordering a soundsgood in december, still calling internationally and my bank to sort it out. No probs getting money from my card but when it comes to putting it back all of a sudden they seem to have problems.

Any non Palm gear soundsgoods at the lower price?

Is there a cover for the Edge slot?

I have a question, I see that when the cover is removed the edge connector is exposed. Does the Edge come with a cover for the connector, that is to say, so you could use the Edge without the flip cover, but protect the connector slot?

Red face

yeah a small plastic piece to lose! Could have made it metal!
I'm just starting to realise the hassles of all the piece to keep track of!

Question

my silver flashed green

what colours do the other flash for silent alarm?
Are they all green? Does it show through the side properly for the others?
Would look kinda odd no?
