Question Smartmedia on Dlx

Is there a program I can use to launch apps from the SM card like PiDirect? It is not terribly important but it would be nice. Are there limitations to the size of SM cards the Dlx can recognize and can I store dictionary databases on it? The ones I will be using are for KDIC and Mi: D. Thanks.

I have a my old Visor Deluxe with a MemPlug, PiVFSMgr, and LauncherIII configured to run many things from the card. Owning a MemPlug entitles you to use PiVFSMgr for free, so I highly suggest giving it a try.

You should have no problems with MiD, as I use that application also. I have the Dictionaries on my MemPlug and it works great.

Check out LaunchPlug for information on how to use the MemPlug to its fullest.

This solution only works well for DB's that are VFS Aware. Since PiDirect will not function with the Deluxe, this is the best solution there is.

The size of the SM Card should not be an issue.
