New Guts for my Deluxe?

Hello, all. Got one for the really "Visor-savvy":

I'm thinking of picking up a Visor Neo motherboard (for roughly the cost of postage), and am wondering about the prospects of slapping it into my Deluxe's casing and having everything work. Can anyone address the following:

1) Is this even feasible, and a reasonable task for someone with, let's say, intermediate hardware modification skills?

2) Would there be any soldering involved? (No big deal if so, though I'd be a bit concerned about frying the Deluxe hardware and ending up stuck if the Neo mobo doesn't work.) The speaker & battery wires need to be soldered, right? Anything else?

3)Is the Deluxe's button board compatible with the Neo mobo?

4) I seem to recall having read somewhere that the Deluxe screen is itself capable of 16-level greyscale, but it's Palm OS 3.1 which limits the Deluxe to 4 greys. Can anyone confirm?

5)Any tricks or traps I ought to know about before I attempt this?

I appreciate any help anyone might be able to give. I've found a sweet deal on the Neo motherboard (for what most parts sites are asking, I'd be better off just buying a Neo complete, and wouldn't even be considering this), and thought this might be a fun project.

Thanks in advance,
Marv

Check www.gethightech.com. They offer the parts and based on the offerings and descriptions, you can probably guess which are compatible. I believe they also offer some guides for installation, etc.
