Question

Any one else have a loose battery cover? Mine rattles whenever I move my Visor, its driving me nuts! Also the stylus is rattling a little and the case creaks whenever I pick it up. It gives the thing a real cheap feel. Has anyone tried to get a replacement for these types of complaints. The electronics work just fine.

Same deal here... My battery cover is a little loose, the case creaks when I hold it on the sides, and the worst creaking comes from right below the springboard cover. I think it's just inherent in a design like this. As soon as the visor gets broken in the plastic flexes.

I read somewhere on this forum that the newer models - last couple of months - were more flex-resistant, but I just got my BVDx a month ago, so who knows?!

Same issues here.

As to the battery cover, I tore off a small piece of tissue and set it on top of the batteries and closed the cover. No more rattle.

I know what you mean. My visor battery cover also rattles. This wasn't such a big deal because I put a piece of foam in there. My biggest complaint is how the housing bows a little where the springboard compartment is. It's not flush with the rest of the unit. There's a gap that I can flex when I press it. It's the little things like that that bug me....

But if they can get the GPS springboard out soon, I might just forget all about the "little things"!
