Angry Received an obviously refurbished prism as a replacement from handspring.com

Has anyone else dealt with this before? I am so upset!!! I know that it says that they can send me a refurbished model in the warranty but why does it have to be so obvious? The one I received had scratches on the inside of the springboard module slot...and the thingy that goes in the slot is scratched...the thing that tipped me off that it was refurbished was that the time and date were set and the unit was charged...what is up with that? Someone reply!!!

If it chaps you that much, call them up and ask for a new replacement. good luck. If nothing else, try and get your warranty extended from one year past the date you received your refurb.

Welcome to the world. FWIW, I've received several refurbs as replacements to my various models. In my experience, the refurbs tend to be a little more reliable--they've been checked by a human being with at least a shade of intelligence.

I did call them for a new replacement...

The last time that I had to deal with them for a replacement was for an edge that the backlight didn't work on...the one that they sent worked without a hitch...the replacement prism that they sent me didn't even look new it sucked...
