Question

Anyone know what is the best case for my prism?
I got a minstrel modem, backup module and stowaway keyboard,
and I want to put everything in one place.
1 more question. Is there any case that I can use to protect just my visor prism and my omnisky module plug to my visor, so I can surf the web and my prism is still protected?
thank's!

I've been looking all over for a similar answer, and so far I've found the Rhinosking 1100 (?) looks right, as well as the INCASE Moya pak > http://www.fabric8.com/bazaar/ID0107.f8ml.

let me know if you see anything yourself.

I want to buy rhinopak 3000 for carrying my prism, all of my springboard modules and my stowaway keyboard, but I want another case(slip case just to protect my prism and my minstrel modem). I'm interested with slip case from vaja, but I don't think that the case will fit my prism when the modem plug to my prism. is there any slip case that can fit my prism and my modem, so I can surf the web and my prism still protected?

Akur,

Right now, the only case that I know of (other than the one that comes with the omnisky, is the Hansprings sports case (http://www.handspring.com/products/Category.jhtml?CATID=1053) uits a tad tight, but it works.

Brooklyn,

My Omnisky came with a slip case that fits both the prism and minstrel.

Felipe,
Do you know if the case is available from Omnisky separately from the modem? Does it have a belt clip?

The Handspring Sports case is too tight (I just returned mine)... EB Cases is going to put one out in February accoding to their design guy Mike. This will be a work-thru case (their 'Slipper' case) to accomodate the Prism with the Minstrel S.

Brooklyn,

Its a slip case nothing special. No belt clip.

Baseman,

I find the Sports case getting looser as time goes on.

Felipe-

I figured eventually my sport case would loosen up too, but I also knew I wouldn't be satisfied. My holy grail is the work-thru case.

I hope Vaja or other company will make a case(like Vaja case) that can fit prism and minstrel modem. I saw the vaja case that can fit palm V and minstrel modem.

I got the idea from this discussion forum to use the included slipcase that came with my Prism and attach one of those generic belt clips. The clip's post uses that super 3M adhesive. But for added strength, I drilled a small hole through the post, un-did the top seam of the case, punched a hole through the case, screwed a small screw from the inside of the case and through the post, and finally sewed up the top seam.

It fits the Prism and the Handspring modem module. I've included pics for those interested.

Total cost: $8
