I just received the new Prism aluminum case by rhinoskin. It fits the Prism perfectly. When closed it forms a near vacuum-like suction which makes it a little of a challenge to extract from the case. When it is in the case and opened I feel secure that it won't fall out. The lid slides downward and behind the Prism when opened. There is a conveniently cut-out for the IR port so it can be used while in the case. The case is very light and the size is not much more than the prism itself. I was a little dissapointed with a few rough edges along the sides of the aluminum. They caused some minor damage to my nice dress pants when I inserted into my pocket. I will have to try to grind that down to a smooth surface. I also wonder about the actuall protection afforded to my PDA while in the case. It is certainly protected from crushing type of forces but if it were to take a 4-5 ft fall to a hard surface I am not convinced that the vibratory forces wont damage the screen. The rhinoskin shocksuit for my VDX seemed to have an adequate amount of styrofoam padding that it absorbed the impact. The aluminum body of the case transmitts the forces, not absorbing. I wish I could do a drop test to see the results.

Maybe you could try putting some small pocket mirrors, or Saltine crackers, or something inside the case (in a bag) and try dropping it... :P (Now you see what kind of scientist I would have made.)
