They've also been having their in-store reps say things like: "those Palm's aren't actually computers, the pocketpc is the only real pocket computer." I don't think we've seen the last of the misinformation campaign.
I think that Microsoft realizes the potential in the market, and is trying to bully it's way into dominace. So far, so good...

I saw a similar article in the Wall Street Journal today. I guess that explains why they pulled the "Can your Palm do that" ad campaign.

the funny thing is, i remember a few weeks ago some 'big-wig' from MS saying they were pulling the adds becuase they wanted to focus on what the PPC is instead of what Palm isn't. nice way of not lying but not telling the truth eh?
