I searched through the discussion boards tonight looking for info on how to make a serial cable. I saw some info on making a USB+serial cradle. Does anyone have parts info and drawings? Any parts supplier info?

I am trying to make a serial cable and set up my cradle so that it will recharge the NiHM batteries.

Thanks,

Henry

The thread about the USB & serial cradle contains the necessary details for making a serial cable. I have built a few of them myself. There was another thread about a charging circuit as well.

Sorry I don't have the links to post... I'm at the office and the boss is calling.

Lightbulb

I'm not sure how to charge the batteries, but my site has info on the serial cable

I hacked a serial cradle up and created a serial cable out of it, using the ATL Connectors and a little soldering.

I use the Handspring Visor to control my MP3 Jukebox in my car, a 233Mhz PC with 33 Gigs of MP3s with IR Remote, PalmAmp control, CDPD Modem, etc.. check it out at http://www.mobileJukeBox.com for more info and great detailed pics on the visor serial cradle
