Don't know if PalmOS does the DST switch automatically, but thanks to DSTPanel, my Platinum knows when to adjust the clock for DST/nonDST.

Well my visor "supposed" to set the clock back, but it ended up me waking up because my visor clocked stoped, causing an alarm to ring. It stopped at 2:33am, and now it is 10am.
I'm trying to get the correct time from time.gov but it isnt working right, maybe tons of others are doing the same.

Growing up in Ohio and now living in Illinois, I seem to have completely missed the happy state of Indiana, and instead spent my whole life adjusting for DST, which I still don't understand the purpose of. Thus have I become a bitter old man.

DST Panel adjusted my time correctly. I had actually forgotten to change my clocks last night, then wondered why my Prism was an hour behind this morning.

I always thought it kind of funny that the gov. put the idea of DST up for a vote, and it was voted down. Then it was instated in most places anyway.

The reason DST was set up was because back during WWII the government was trying to think of ways to save money. They came up with the . . . um . . . brilliant idea of DST. It's supposed to save money by having fewer people turn on their lights before sunrise, thus saving energy.

That's what I heard anyway.

What is DST Panel?

At any rate, I have hottime installed. When my computer corrected for DST, so did my visor.

Actually, it was world war I, not World War II. It was approved by Congress in March of 1918 and it went into effect for the first time on March 31, 1918.

DST panel changed it at the right time,
but BackupBuddy TimeSync then screwed it up!
I had to 'uncheck' the adjust for DST box in TimeSync.
I sync with Win2k at both work and home.
