Red face

help...

i've been syncing just fine for months (months!) and today i had my first sync weirdness with multimail. as my imac running 8.5 loads the conduit, it freezes, crashes, and cannot complete the sync.

i've been syncing alot with the multimail conduit on "do nothing" lately, but i used to switch back and forth all the time. this is my first issue with the hotsync. i've tried un- and re-installing multimail: no dice. i haven't updated with the handspring fix, yet, though. i recently downloaded ms internet explorer 5 for the mac, but this shouldn't make any difference, right? unless maybe mm is getting some ms extensions confused. hmmm....

any thoughts?

When I first saw this post, I wished I could help, but I really don't know what to do. I am having my own troubles with multimail. Here are mine:

1) I can't get the mail to sync with my outbox (which i changed to "drafts" in an attempt to fix it) I can get it to recieve mail, but i don't know how to send it. i can't press send because it will try to use a modem. send later doesn't do it either.

2) The whole reason I want multimail is so i can have longer emails. but even though i have my limit set at the highest (2048Kb) it cuts my email off WAAAAY too soon. I think its the same length of the regular mail program.

If ANYONE has gottem multimail to work on the mac, please help us out.

Thanks,
Ryan

ryan -

are you using multimail pro on your visor? that may be the key to longer email - i guess i haven't had big enough or long enough emails to really experience the truncation...

as for syncing to the right folders... that never used to be a poblem for me either (the outbox from mmpro would sync to drafts in oe but that wasn't such a big deal.

sadly, i just had this hotsync thing come outta the total blue, or i would gladly have stepped up to try and smack these mm woes outta the park. (as i beleive i tried to do for an earlier post of yours not so very long ago... ahh, for the days of untroubled multimail bliss.

can anyone help us?

anyone at all?

i think i remember reading somewhere on this board that the demo still truncates messages... that may be the problem.

I am using the demo and the emails are really short. is anyone using the full version? does it let you have normal sized emails? i'm not going to buy the full version unless i know for sure.
