Visor Edge Battery

I let my visor edge sit for a while after i bougth a new one. Now i plug it in and nothing happens. Is it dead? What can I do? The computer (OS-XP) doesnt recognize the device. I just want it to charge. Any Ideas?

How long did you let it sit in the charger? Does the charging light come on? If yes to the second, I'd leave it charge for at least 12-24 hours before trying to turn it on. You may have over discharged the battery, though, and it may not come back to life. I'm not sure if anyone sells replacement batteries, but gethightech.com would if anyone does. That's assuming it would be desirable to you to replace it.
