Just wondering what other people have been doing to transfer data/applications from their VDX when upgrading to the Prism. I've got BackupBuddy and the Backup Module, and would be interested in hearing about experiences using both.

I'm also leaning toward uninstalling everything Visor-related from my desktop system, installing the new Palm Desktop and doing a clean-install on all the apps, then restoring data files seperately.

Thoughts & Input appreciated!

Hammerstroke,

I used my backup module to transfer all my data from my Deluxe into my Platinum.

Then I hotsynced, just 'cause I hadn't hotsynced before I did the backup/restore.

Everything appears to be hunky dory.

I did notice that I've lost all the lock codes for my Peanut Reader ebooks and for some reason, I have a duplicate copy of the Peanut Reader application that has the title of one of my now re-locked ebooks.

That seems a bit strange, but who knows if that was caused by the backup module or not.

McGaw,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried using the backup module but the second I insert it or the 8MB Memory Module I get a Fatal Error and have to reset.

I love calling Tech Support!

*sigh*
