OT: Tracing a "pre-paid" owner

My mother has been getting annoying phone calls from a number that is definitely T-Mobile (cause I called it and pressed # and it asked what T-Mobile phone number I was trying to call <g> ), and we think is a pre-paid SIM. If we phone T-Mobile are they likely to 1) know who it is and 2) tell us?

No and No

Usually in cases like this you are told that if it keeps happening you can change YOUR number!

Here in Australia you have to show ID if you buy a pre-paid Sim, not sure about the US... In Holland you dont have to..

If they dont the only thing they can work out is where they are calling from (which cell) and who else they have been calling..

I would log a complaint anyway..

Have you tried calling the number yourself (from say a payphone)?
