Battery warning levels don't "stick" after a soft reset, so unless you have an application specifically designed to put them back to specific values after a reset, the soft reset will put them back to the OS defaults.
I think battery type is sticky though, and the warning defaults are based on type. So you may want to use the /.7 trick to set type to make sure battery type actually matches what you're using.
