Hi everyone .. for some reason, my USB cradle will not work with Win2000.. I am using the latest Win2000 Palm Desktop software from Handspring and when installing I tell it I have a USB and Serial cradle.

However, when using the USB cradle, it will not hotsync. I thought the cradle might be bad, but it works fine on another computer.

Currently the serial cradle works fine, but I would really like to get the USB cradle working as I need the serial port for another device (btw - I have an Epson 875 printer and compact flash reader hooked up to the USB ports and they both work fine)

Any ideas or suggestions would be great!

Joe

I had the same trouble. I assumed it was Win2K, but it was my Visor. Do a warm reset and it should work.

also make sure you set your desktop software to USB instead of serial...

And doublecheck you haven't redirected your syncing cradle to your IR-port... I did that in order to try a IR-sync... It took me a week to discover that the port was redirected and hence was not using the USB cradle....
