Angry Wireless Ethernet

Hi,

Been reading a number of threads of ppl having problems
with the SpringPort Wireless Ethernet Module. Unfortunately,
I am one of those who are having a hell of a time trying to get it work. Here's my findings:

1) When you try to ping or surf with blazer, the module sends out
a ARP request eg. "Who has 10.16.2.1? Tell 10.16.2.200". The default gateway (10.16.2.1) replies with its mac address but
looks like the module ignores the replies and re-sends the requests. Anyone knows where I can find an utility for setting static arp table on the visor deluxe?

2) It worked better, well 1 out of 3 times vs not working, with
firmware 1.10. I now wish I never upgraded. Anyone has 1.10 out there?

Thanks

Way

i just got the springport and i am using it with a linksys.

I have had no issues since i input the dns and ip (hign number) in the palm network setting properties for the connection.

The weird thing is that in the advanced config section of the xircom, I have it set as dynamic. It is getting ip 105.

Now if I could only get it to hot sync to the PC which is on Ip 104 I wouldn't have to use the cradle.
