Hacked MW Dictionary Module

I don't know if this is done all the time, but I have never read about doing it. So I figured I would share my experiance so other's could have the information.

For Christmas I got a MW Dictionary Module for my Visor. It has resided in my springboard slot since I got my Pro. My backup module used to fill the space, but it became inadequate with my Pro. Yesterday I ordered the SD/MMC Memplug, and realized that I would not have instant access to spellings and meanings like I have had. (I use the module a lot more than I thought I would in school) Using PZ I was able to copy the prc and two pdb files to my ram, and I can now use the dictionary program and database without the module. When I get my Memplug I will copy the files over, and I will have my ram free again. I know there are other dictionary programs out already, but I already had the module. I also heard several people on the boards talk about how useless the module was for them, perhaps loading the app into ram or onto an expansion card will make it more usefull?

To move it into ram I went into PZ and then compressed all files on the module except for "Card welcome.prc". When PZ compressed these files into a database it made the database in the Visor's ram. I then extracted the files from the .pz file, and the extracted copies were put into ram. Again, I dont' know if this is common place, but I just thought I would share just incase there are people who have not found how to do this.

I can't wait for my Memplug to get here.... it is scheduled to get here on the 25th... so far away....
