Handcam Question??

My friend just bought a handcam for his VDX but he can't get color pics. It this really the deal? Is there a way to get color pics using his VDX or will it only do color on other models?

color pics

yeah i was using the handcam with my visor deluxe. In the bottom right is a pulldown menu that will flip from high res to low res pics. The high res pics should be in color
