When I bought my VDx last summer, I was in a rush and payed $250 at Staples. Now you can pay as low as $150 at Target! Including any rebate, what did you pay?

It seems I accidently typed $150-$150 instead of $150-$159. Oh well.

I think I'm in the Over $250 category because I bought my VDx through Handspring with the optional serial cradle.

Ju$t don't a$k what my total Vi$or expenditure$ are (acce$$orie$, $oftware, module$, ca$e$, etc, etc, etc)...

I think I paid in the $250+ range at Best Buy almost a year ago. I think I tagged on a serial cradle to get the amount up to a level where I could get long term financing on it

I'm one of the $160 Staples.com folks, or at least I will be if I ever mail in the HS rebate form on time.

I guess you didn't make a poll for this? [Doh! Didn't see the poll the first time! Doh!]

After the rebate I will have paid $130. I got the $199 deal at Target as well as an additional 10% off for opening a charge account with them. Of course I'll close the account as soon as I get my bill, but they don't have to know that!

Talking

Just got my Visor Deluxe (upgraded from Palm IIIe) 3 weeks ago from Staples.com for $109 +tax. It's the best deal out there. They will match the Target price of $199, then deduct the $50 rebate, and also the $40 online coupon for purchasing over $200 (add in a dozen Bic pens for a dollar or so). It's the best deal going!

P.S. Staples.com matched the Target price for me 19 days after I purchased it, even though their policy claims a limit of 14 days. Kudos to them.

This makes up for the argument I had last week with Staples.com when they wouldn't match PalmGear.com's price for the Soundsgood Audio Player module, which they kept insisting was different than the Soundsgoods Audio Player they were carrying.

I paid 249 for it, but I ordered it the day they came out back in September '99. I received it 5 weeks later (exceptional delivery for those who know what I'm talking about). I don't feel so bad about paying full price because up to only a few months ago, they were still going for 249. I feel bad for the people who paid 249 just before the prices dropped.
