Have you installed the update?

Hey,

Have you installed an update? It can also be a database problem they sometimes can become unstable. Delete burkeDB, burkeMovieDB, burkeNoteDB and burkeVGADB using Filez or another utility and try to insert the eyemodule 2 again. If that does not work I would think that you can try a warm reset or the dreaded hard reset. I hope this helps.

i've searched for quite some time, not realizing that the eyemodule wasn't supported by the manufacturer... found an update on handsprings site and reinstalled the conduit, but i'm not sure if its the latest... do you know where to find it???

thanks again...

Handspring supports it now

Hey,

Handspring supports it now. That is the latest version. Try deleting the databases too it won't hurt.

I have this problem, too. The Eye2 worked great with my prism before the Version 2.0 software update on the Eye2. Ever since, I get lots of fatal exceptions whenever the camera tries to start the "camera" mode. Reinserting, soft reset, hard reset don't help, the crash keeps on looping. Is there a permanent fix for this?

visorprismman, I tried deleting all the burke databases, it didn't help. And when the Eyemodule 2 program starts, those databases get regenerated.

yeah, sounds like kruiser's having the exact sames problem... i've also deleted the burke files... and have even gone so far as to delete a whole bunch of other third party software which might conflict... still to no avail?
so is the latest version of eye 2 software 2.0?
any other ideas?

this really sucks bcuz the camera is (or was) one of the most useful modules that i've got... would hate to never be able to use this thing again...

thanks...
