Question

I'm looking for a defragmentation program for my Visor Platinum. I understand that optimizing the memory can speed thing sup a bit and I am willing to give that a try. Are there any programs that accomplish this out there? Is it neccesary /helpful or am I wasting my time? I have an 8MB backup module. If I were to do a restore from the module, would that accomplish the same task, or is the backup a bit by bit copy of the Visor's environment to the module?

Thanks

Memory defragmentation made a big difference with the old Palm OS 1.0 and 2.0 devices. However with Palm OS 3.0 and greater devices, they functionally defragment themselves as needed. (The Visor and Visor Deluxe run 3.1, and the Platinum and Prism run 3.5.) It is possible to run a defragmenter on a Palm OS 3.0 or greater device, but the change in performance is all but immeasurable.
