Yeah, but read the fine print...

I almost went for the "One Year Extended Warranty with One Time Screen Replacement Plan" for my new Neo until I read the fine print at:

"This Plan covers the cost of repairing or replacing the screen of your handheld should it become inoperable due to a manufacturing defect. "

I called Handspring and the the rep assured me that her supervisor says that they would cover it if it got crushed in a backpack (the example I used since that's what recently happened to my son's VDx...). Just call me cynical but I don't think hearsay will prevail over written terms anytime soon.
