To all Thinmodem owners!!!!!! Please answer this for me!!!!!!!

I use Ameritech.Net as my Isp. When you connect this modem to the Visor can you surf the net the same way as you do with a desktop? What shows up on the Visor screen? If I go to Yahoo, can I see the same information that's on my Yahoo page as my desktop. In other words can you surf the net in the same manner with the Visor as you do with your desktop but of course on a much smaller scale. Where can I go to see some examples of what shows up?

i don�t know if there is something special with ameritech.net, but let me tell you my experiences with the thinmodem+.

i think it�s really worth the price - don�t forget the additional 8mb flash ram!

i use the thinmodem mostly for wap connections (my email account f.e. is not a pop client) with blazer 1.1. this works really fine. normal web connections (like yahoo etc.) were diappointing (but yahoo is still delivering a wap site). only pda enabled web sites are looking great on the visor. i don�t know if browse it, delivered with the module, show you the sites a different way, browse it doesn�t work

i think you can�t compare it being online with your desktop.

The Information will be the same, just the format is different. It makes all the information to fit on your visor screen. So, the picture will be smaller, sometimes a paragraph with 5 lines will become 10 lines on your visor, but other than that the information, pictures and button is the same with the one you saw on the desktop.
