Question Memplug and PiDirect

OK, I just got a new Prism for Christmas (yay!). it's ben wonderful so far and I've been using a bunch of different apps and games on it. I love color! Here's my little problem. I have a memplug with a 64 meg CF card in it and I put a lot of docs on it to read with CSpotRun. That works great. I must have 10 megs of stuff to read now. My problem is I can't seem to put any programs on the CF and be able to run them. Isn't this what PiDirect is for? I havent registered it yet, is that the problem? It seems like the website said the demo version is almost fully functional. What do I need to do? will registering it cure my problem? is there another program i need to install?

thanks for any clues...

The demo version works with up to 20 programs (I think). Are you putting the programs you want stored on the memory card in the PALM/PiDirect folder? Also, be sure PiDirect is enabled.
Oh yeah, be sure to sync or backup before trying new programs in PiDirect, not all of them are compatible!

I too had that problem for a while. But then it hit me, "I wonder what directory these should be in." The defalt is \Palm\PiDirect\ but in the PiDirect app you can change this to anything that you want. You can use PiViewer to see where you have your apps of course. You'll also want to register to allow you to use more than 10 apps.

Thumbs up ah HAH

Thats it. thanks guys. I actually had to put the card in my reader/writer and create the PiDirect Directory and then move my programs into it. for some reason the PiTech software wasn't doing any of that. Ive got all the stuff over on my CF card now though. yay!

On a similar note- I want to register PIDirect, but PalmGear says it is not available, and I cannot seem to locate it anywhere else.

Any idea what is going on?

Try Handango - they mention on the website that you can get instant code generation.
