For those of you who have indicated that Handspring has removed all of the wait states...
There is still a ton of us in the shipping forum that would beg to differ...

Actually, it's not even true on the Visor. I get wait states all the time when accessing the info and delete dialogues.

When people say that Handspring eliminated "wait states," that does not mean that you will not have to "wait" for anything to appear on the screen. They optimized the code so things appear faster, but there will still be times when you have to wait a few seconds.
I got the joke , I was speaking to the post above.
Your humor wasn't lost on me. When I saw the title "Wait States," it immediately occurred to me that it was ironic that the Visor is touted as having removed wait states, making it faster than the Palm. I read the thread, and found that several people had the opposite reaction.
Hilarious irony!

To LarryD: Just for the record, I knew you were being facetious. Your joke just gave me the occassion to address a concern I had about wait states.
