Targus Handcam as webcam for Visor?
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to videoconference using your Visor, just like you can with a PC and MS Netmeeting?
I know that the Targus Handcam is designed primarily as a still and short video camera module for the Visor. Secondarily, it can be used in its USB cradle as a webcam for notebook and desktop PC's.
I would like to know if anyone has figured out a way to use it as a webcam for the VISOR. This could be either in its USB cradle or plugged into the Springport. IF plugged into the Springport, then the internet connection could be made through either IR or an external modem/digital phone. IF in its USB cradle, then a Springboard modem (Handspring, Xircom, Thinmodem, etc.) could be used.
The trick would be to write the proper PalmOS program or hack to handle it all, interface with MS Netmeeting, and generally fool the Handcam into thinking it is connected to a PC instead of to the Visor. I am not a programmer, so my part ends here. Is this possible?
