Does anyone know if it is possible to save word documents on a SD/MMC card and then read them on a palm m50x? I don't want to have to sink them up with my computer. Just move them to the SD/MMC card for storage, and then later just drop that card into my Palm and be able to read/edit the file.

Thanks for you input.

I'm pretty sure that no PalmOS doc/word reader/editor actually reads Word docs in their native format. WordSmith, QuickDoc, Docs2Go etc. all have conduits that convert the Word doc into a special PalmOS format. There is a good reason for this, because they can shrink the file considerably and improve performance as well. One thing that might happen, though, is that you will be able to 'drag' the doc into a Docs2Go window and specify that it should be installed directly to the SD/MMC card instead of the palm's main memory (the new install tool that comes with m50x already has this option)
