Handcam Conduit Problem

Hi Everyone,
I bought a Targus Handcam earlier this week. It seemed to work fine but when I installed the software on my PC the conduit did not install so I cannot get the pix off of my visor. I tried all the suggestions in the Handcam in stock thread but no luck. I also sent 2 emails to Targus several days ago but so far no response. I am hoping someone here may be able to help. I am running a newer PC with Windows 98SE. I have the Handspring/Palm desktop 4.0.1 and have the visor neo with OS 3.5. Is anyone running a similar configuration which works? In addition, can anyone who has the conduit working tell me if when you right click on the hotsync manager and select custom is there a conduit listed for the handcam? Anyone with other ideas please chime in, any help appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, but as I said in the post I have tried the suggestions posted thus far:

I called Targus Tech support and they have had tons of calls about this problem and they said they will be hopefully fixing this and updating the web site next week.

got conduit to work finally

I bought the handcam about 2 weeks ago and couldn't get the conduit working. I would get an error saying that the device was not connected. I plugged in the module this evening and the computer suddenly recognised it (I'm running on a windows XP platform) and prompted me to install the drivers. One problem I have noticed though is that if I try to hotsync with the module still plugged into my Visor Deluxe it won't hotsync about 50% of the time and I have to to a soft reset to get it synced up. Hope this helps someone out there.

One question though, if I change the settings in the desktop software does that change the settings in the camera when I use it to take pictures with my palm pilot?

P.S. I'm pretty happy with this product, I have access to a real digital camera if I need to take nice pics and this is great for taking quick pics of my projects...plus I was in the market for a webcam at the time.
