Question

The other day I was at a computer swap and found a company that sold a quick charger for Cell Phones. It took AA batteries and then would drain them into your cell phone. Would something like this work on a Prism? I'm only getting about 4 hours of constant use out of mine (long meetings).

Thanks,
-T

check this out on Ebay:

I bought one from this fellow and it works well. I use it for travel - just bring extra AA batteries. And of course you can buy AA's anywhere. I see no reason you couldn't use it in a meeting for a couple of hours.

I have no connection to the seller - just a pleased customer.

How many full charges can you get out of 4 AA batteries? I was browsing over at PDAbuzz and found an interesting article about a company that makes a charger that doesn't require batteries. It uses some type of cartridge that sells for $10 and gives 8 full charges to a Palm Vx. There is a Prism version, I wonder how this compares to spending $5 on 4 batteries?

I have both the quick charge battery pack and the car charger from http://www.talestuff.com/
I've very happy with it. I mainly use the car charger. Only had to use the battery pack once. (Since most of the time I use the standard travel charger from Handspring.
