Help With sony 300 & Motorola T250

Can anyone help. Just purchasd Sony 300, i have a motorola t250. im trying to connect to the net using the 2 devices.
i have an isp and have put all my detailsin to the sony already. 1.e ip address, primary dns, secondary i have already set these up.
How do i configure the connection settings so that it will communicate with my phone.
I previously had a visor and using programmes like blazer worked very well, but i dont know the setting to use on the sony, can anyone help? I cant copy the setting from the visor cos its broken
