Cracked the LCD again. This time Handspring will not help me as I upgraded from 2 to 8 Meg (STNE) and cannot give me back the same one I send them. Any one know who can help?

Did you add the memory yourself?

If so, can you undo what you did? If not, can whoever added the memory put it back to "stock"?

STNEcorp.com did the work for $90. I did find Palmmedic.com could change the LCD for $70 +S&H. Looking at the picts. on http://www.mikew.org/html/visordeluxe.html it looks like I can just swap the board with a new one. I will post the results.

The first time was right after I got the slipper case. It was on my belt and I was squeezing between the wall and a rack. The second was in the case but in my fanny pack, again, I think it got squeezed, the LCD showed a crack right where the beltclip button is on the back. I am going to put a peice of cardbord in the back of the case to try to reduce this problem. BTW, I swapped the ROM/RAM board with the 2Meg unit Handspring sent me and have 8Meg. in my new Visor!
