changing ID

How do you change the owner in the Palm OS? My wife is in the process of changing her name, and she ordered the DateBk4 with her new name. Her Visor is registered under maiden name.

Is there a way to do this other than in the Preferences>Owner section? We already changed that, but the DateBk4 is still using her maiden name as the User ID and thus her registration # is not working.

Never mind...I figured it out. I changed her name in the Palm Desktop...then synced her Visor...that did it.

You could also use ChangeName to do the job...

Go to your your computer and open up the Palm Desktop application.

In the upper right hand corner, there is a drop down menu with your name in it and the selection "Edit Users..." Select that, highlight your name, and select the Rename button.

After changing that, sync your Edge and you should be good to go.
