Question

Wow! That thing is shiny!

What kind of finish is that? Paint? Metalization? How is it done?

I would really like to know because I am looking for a way to apply a mirror-like coating to some clear plastic for a light-pipe type application. I need the coating to be highly reflective on the inside surface - so it channels as much of the light as possible.

I checked out the link, but it's in Japanese. Anyone have a translation? (other than with Bablefish)

The website is in Chinese, in fact. It says it's some sort of galvanization, but nothing about how to get it or if it is available outside Hongkong(where the website is based)...
