I've tried to install a couple of products on my visor (like IRSync+) and have been told that my license manager can't be found, followed by a soft reset.

Have I missed something in setting up my new toy?

Nope. I've never used IRSync before, but I have used an IR print product that used license manager. (I think it was by the same company.) Anyway, it is a file that you must also install to use the IR program. It is either available for download on the page you got the IRSync software from, or is included in the IRSync zip file you downloaded. License manager is NOT a standard Visor file. You haven't fouled anything up. (That's the beauty of the Palm OS...VERY difficult to foul up.)
